Writing a Summary

    What a summary is

    A summary tells the most important events of a story, in order and in your own words.

    Opinion: what a person thinks or feels about something. A summary has no opinion.

    Somebody-Wanted-But-So-Then: a frame with 5 parts that helps you write a summary. Somebody is the character. Wanted is the goal. But is the problem. So is what the character does. Then is the end.
