What an inequality is
An inequality shows that 1 number is greater than or less than another number.
> means greater than. < means less than. The open side of the symbol faces the larger number.
Watch the symbol follow the larger tower
Solution: a number that makes the inequality true. For x < 4, the number 2 is a solution, because 2 < 4.
