Ratios and Ratio Tables

    What a ratio is

    A ratio compares 2 amounts.

    2 red pens 1 blue pen 2 : 1 red to blue
    Ratio: a comparison of 2 amounts. Example: 2 red pens for 1 blue pen. The ratio is 2 to 1. You can also write 2:1 or 2/1.
